Got the winter shivers?
Warm up in an herbal bath!
Nothing is nicer on a cold winter night than a hot herbal bath. Blend these fragrant herbs to soothe stiff joints and calm jangled nerves:
- 2 cups rosemary
- 2 cups lavender
- 1 cup thyme
- 1 cup bay leaves
- 1 cup calendula
- 1 cup rose geranium leaves
Cover ½ cup of the blend with 1 cup boiling water and steep for 20-25 minutes. Drain liquid into the bath water and tie up the herbs in a terry washcloth. After a long soak, use the washcloth as an herbal scrub. This mixture is enough for 16 soothing baths.
