Celery: Not Just Stalks

Celery leaves make a delicious seasoning for soups, chowders, and vegetable dishes. Strip from the stalks, rinse and pat dry, and spread on a cookie sheet to dry in the oven. Use your pilot light only; for electric ovens, turn to lowest setting, watch carefully. Pulverize dried leaves, store in a closed container. For more about celery's nutritive value, go here.
