Be on the lookout for mad March hares. It is especially unlucky to meet a hare when setting out on a journey. Hares acting oddly might be shape-shifters or "were-hares." These dangerous hares can only be dispatched by a silver bullet, or a bullet dipped in rue or rowan tea. (Herbs can help you be prepared for anything!) Or you might try feeding him a sandwich. March hares are said to be especially fond of ham.
