China Bayles   All About Thyme
A Monthly Calendar of Times & Seasonings

Celebrating the Mysteries, Magic, and Myths of Herbs

Welcome!

Welcome to All About Thyme, a monthly celebration of herbs, spices, and the changing seasons. All About Thyme is all about the plants we treasure, plants that have given us pleasure, seasoned our food, healed our bodies, and fed our souls.

It's all about growing, cooking, using, crafting, and enjoying the herbs in our gardens.

And it's all about our calendar, too—about the many ways that herbs have connected our human lives to the changing times and passing seasons.

In Each Issue

Each issue tells you what special days are on the calendar for the coming week—days connected with foods, gardening, plants, and herbs, of course!

And every issue includes a short piece from Susan Wittig Albert about the herbs related to one of those special days. Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, or mustard for National Mustard Day (yes, there is such a day!). There are recipes, things to do, and suggestions for books to read.
